I have a new 2014 Dodge RAM 1500. It was wrecked down the passenger side, with the back wheel taking the hardest hit. The axle, and housing was bent and had to be replaced. The backlash was set. It is still making noise when I make turns. Could it have bent the differential or pinion gear?

This would have a 9.25″ with a posi… try adding 8 ounces of limited slip additive.. to the differential this is the posi making noise

    Hello,
I have a 1966 Ford F250 – FE 352 engine with an NP435 trans and D60 with 4.10 gears. I’m interested in reducing RPMs at highway speeds and would like either to change to 3.54 ring and pinion in the D60 or change add OD to the transmission. It’s a long wheel-base truck 2wd truck, so it has two drive shafts. What would the cost be to switch to a single aluminum shaft?

    • The parts to re-ratio the rear differential you would need 1-706033-1X $315.00 ( ring & pinion and install kit) 1-706047x $43.20( differential bearings) This would be the 3.54 ring & pinion and all the bearings and shims to install.
If we can do it as a Gear Vendor over drive unit would be around $3100.00 would need more information.
We would need more information on the one piece driveshaft. About how long does it need to be? Do you have a slip yoke at the rear of the transmission or does it have a bolt on yoke? If you would like to speak to an Expert about these questions give us a call toll free 1-800-444-0755 and ask for Lance.

I have a 2005 chrysler 300 with a 3.5L V6 – 4 speed auto transmission. The U joint in my driveshaft is bad. Is there a rebuild kit or replacement for this u joint. Also what would be an estimate for a new drive shaft shipped to Newfoundland Canada.

    • Hello,
We need to know if it is a RWD or AWD. Either way the replacement rear shaft would sell for $336.00 with a $ 80.00 core charge. As far as a shipping quote we would need an address, if you would like to order the parts and get a direct shipping quote please call toll free 1-800-444-0755 from 8-5 Central Standard time.
