I have an ’06 Trailblazer 4WD 4.2 L, 256 CID L6 DOHC, General Motors 4L60E (M30), 4 Speed, Automatic Transmission with about 238k miles. I replaced the Rear Bearings not sure of the Gear ratio but it’s a 10 Bolt 8″ Differential Cover. The noise it had is lesser but there, what reasonable options can you help me with?

    • Without driving the truck it hard to say for sure. If you are getting a whining noise coming from the rear differential and you have replaced all the bearings in the differential and the noise is still there it sounds like you would have to replace the ring & pinion gear set.

If you would like you can give Lance Northrup at Proven Force a call 763-425-7474 Phone or toll free 800-444-0755 and he can answer any additional questions and recommend parts.
